Pre-Disaster Support Network
Herald Cares has a pre-disaster support network comprised of corporations, churches and individual volunteers. Corporate sponsors provide disaster relief items and financial support. Churches and individuals provide the manpower to respond to disaster relief actions.
Immediate Disaster Response
When disaster strikes, Herald Cares takes immediate actions by mobilizing the pre-established support network of corporate, church and individual sponsors.
Through media announcements and publicity, immediate and simultaneous fundraising efforts will be launched for each disaster relief effort to maximize monetary support and provide direct relief actions.
Disaster Area Redevelopment
Upon completion of immediate relief efforts, Herald Cares provides additional assistance to help meet the long term range needs in the disaster areas such as employment, medical or educational needs.
Relief Effort Supervision
Through CCCH’s network of branch offices and affiliated churches worldwide, Herald Cares ensures that donations are spent wisely through a system of supervision by regional and local committees.
Preparedness Education
Herald Cares provides Disaster Preparation Workshops (DPW) for different regions of the world. These 8 hour courses cover the fundamentals of pr preparation as well as basic first aid. |
